Long-time Danville resident Charlene Trautner caught a 72 inch, 192 pound Halibut while fishing off Gustavus Island in Alaska. The fish is larger than her and took her nearly an hour to reel in.

The fish "is larger than her" -- larger than her "what?" [Post removed due to disrespectful comment] Does the use of the verb in its present tense suggest that Moby Fish survived the ordeal? Or at least is still intact? Is it being stuffed? Mmm ... stuffed halibut!

And was she there for the salmon, too, or just for, you know ...

congrats to the fisher"woman". That is a hell of a fish. I am sure the men weren't happy, just like the men weren't happy the first hole-in-one at the Canyon Lakes Golf Course was made by a woman at the 13th hole with a 5 iron....
