It's about time. Major line breakage over the last few years has caused major problems and a significant loss of precious water. I'm glad that Danville has applied enough pressure one EBMUD (no pun intended)

I'm just waiting for someone to turn this into a diatribe against the Danville city counsel, "stack and pack" housing, "those people," "Agenda 21," etc.

I wish our city planners would consider the school year calendar when making decisions about this type of work. Last spring, a student was hit by a car during the repaving of the road @ Orange Blossom and El Cap. The student (fortunately) was OK. However, it never makes sense to me to schedule work near schools during the school year. Why not do non-school area work during the school year and school area related work during the summer? Traffic congestion in/near SRVHS is already a mess. This will compound it. I am NOT against upgrades, improvements, or infrastructure repair. I just think it would be great for the scheduling to consider the school year calendar and the impact on the families.
