How very disappointing that this was tabled indefinitely and there is not more urgency. With two recent accidents that have taken down trees, what are we waiting for? A human fatality? Our family no longer feels safe walking around the curved portion of the road near Jasmine.

Speed bumps are a better idea than a stop sign.

Speed bumps will not work due to the large trucks and horse trailers that travel down Lawrence for the rural residents who reside there. There is already a stop sign less than 400 feet away from this intersection. There is no reason to have the traffic stop every 400 feet. I also don't see how a stop sign is going to stop speeding cars with drunk drivers. A center median, which was also proposed, is a better solution to stopping the cars from traveling across the road into the front yards of the houses. Barriers would also work, but the town of Danville doesn't want the liability.
