Yesterday was a great day! Chief Price will be a fantastic leader with the Exchange Club, just as he is in every other aspect of his life.

Now that he is retired, I hope Chief Price is enjoying his spiked pension that we San Ramon Valley Fire District taxpayers are paying for. I wonder if he will be speaking at the Exchange Club about how great it is to get his $250,000+ pension every year for the rest of his life.
Price is only about 52 or so. Can you imagine being able to retire at 52, let alone with an incredible pension?!!! Let's do the math. If he lives to be 84, he will have collected $8,000,000 from us!! Forget parcel taxes for our local schools---we have to save that money to pay for his pension!!!
If you are sick and tired of paying for outrageous pensions and public employees retiring at full benefits at age 52, check the backgrounds for the candidates for the San Ramon Valley Fire District Board for the November election. You will likely notice that many are either fire fighters in other jurisdictions or are related to firefighters by blood or marriage. If you care about your wallet, DO NOT ELECT THOSE CANDIDATES. Let's hope we have some good alternate choices! Anyone willing to run?
