Summerhill/McGee is like a B horror movie villain. You stab at it, shoot it, run it over, blast it with flame throwers, and the b@$+@rd still won't die.
You want to see what the flanks of Diablo will look like if our paid-off planners and council members have their way? Just look at the debacle on the west side of 680. That is all you need to know.

Derek,

I echo your sentiments. The developers have the time and the money to wait us out. This will sit there on the back shelves of the Town of Danville until they think we are not looking and then one morning we will wake up and the bull dozers will be cutting into the hillsides. Wonderful thought isn't it?

Anyone who opposes the Summerhill development needs to go to the Planning Commission meeting this evening to express your disapproval. The only way to overcome developer money and politician greed (read, the Planning Commission, Town Council, and the Town Manager) is with votes. Express yourself and then be prepared to sign new petitions if the town "leaders" continue to ignore the will of the people...

I hear ya' brother Dave, but maybe a substantive recall threat would speak the loudest.
Then again, Chainsaw Joe would probably find a way to disqualify that petition too, I suppose.
