$25 discount for AIA membership
Original post made by Community courtesy on Mar 20, 2009
Alamo region neighbors received an offering of a $25 discount to join the Alamo Improvement Association and many among the e-exchanges do not understand why. After reading the invitation, we can understand why our membership, as money and head count, is important to the AIA board, but our neighborhoods were offered no benefit from participation that identifies with neighbors' interest in our region's future.
Could one or more AIA board members please provide comment of neighborhoods' interests in enhanced infrastructure, transportation, economic development, and neighborhood leadership in political and planning activities in our region. Just what does $25 buy neighbors as participants in AIA actions?

Thank you for allowing Jennifer's request to be posted.
Alamo region neighborhoods have their answers to Jennifer's request and will not require further response.

Be sure to let us know when that question is answered...
The one about "enhanced infrastructure, transportation, economic development, and neighborhood leadership in political and planning activities in our region."

In Quincy California, many years ago, a cigar store wooden Indian asked my question for me with a sign he was holding, "How?"
It is a dilemma for sure, right?
