Diablo Views: Silent night, please, for the 12 days of Christmas

A lovely rendition of “Silent Night” is playing on my radio. It’s my favorite carol – brings tears to my eyes in fact. Not only does it bring to mind the touching manger scene, it also brings back my childhood.

I sit quietly listening to KABL 1987 with Bill Moen on my office stereo. With Mel Torme, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and Ernie Ford, the joy of holiday songs and Christmas carols simply took me to an understanding of your thoughts and recollections.
