When you read things like, several regional governing boards, this means those non-elected non-profit groups that feed off of taxpayers dollars while believing they have this view and plan that is better than anything you could come up with because they are smarter and know what you need. This is ABAG, Bay Area Air Quality Management District (the fireplace police), Bay Conservation and Development Commission and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. The community of Corte Madera had the insight and courage to leave ABAG for example as they desired to have local control over their city and not be mandated to conform to the grand vision of, "One Bay Area". Citizens of Danville can opt our of this insanity or stay and pay big bucks to the toads that will tell you exactly what you need to do and how to do it. Remember they know better and are smarter than you.

These meetings are rigged. If you show up and try to give any criticism of the plan or ask any real questions like "How much is this going to cost us?" they will not answer you and will try to shut you down. Most of the people who attend are paid shills and stakeholders who will benefit from this plan passing. The public has been shut out of this process from the start. These meetings are just window dressing so that the corrupt MTC and ABAG folks can say that they gave the public a chance to give input about the plan. The input is NEVER used and does not matter. The plan has already been decided upon.
If you want to object you need to go to the county recorders office and file a declaration opposing this plan saying "I do NOT consent". Then you need to formally deliver this declaration to the agencies MTC and ABAG. Many people need to do this.
