Report ranks SRVUSD high schools among top in country

All nine local high schools scored among the top high schools in the country in the latest U.S. News & World report ranking of high schools nationwide. Four schools -- Amador Valley, Dougherty Valley, Foothill and San Ramon Valley -- took gold awards from the magazine. Five others -- California, Monte Vista, Dublin, Granada and Livermore -- were awarded silver honors.

The sentence, "Five others -- California, Dublin, Granada, and Livermore -- were awarded silver honors. That looks like only four schools to me. Perhaps because they left off Monte Vista High School? It also received a silver award.

Danville Express in their haste makes many mistakes.

I guess these are writers pressured to make the Dead-Line.

They should really slow down and make sure they have it right.

Hey folks at the DE, try proof reading before sending it to the presses or maybe allow another staff member to proof read it.

Congratulations San Ramon High! We always knew you were a gold medal winner; but nice to see that you are being recognized nationally as one. Our three sons were very proud to have graduated from such a great school.
