Approval of park at Faria Preserve on hold until September

Original post made on Aug 26, 2013

ONE tennis court for an additional 740 residential units and senior housing. How many individual people are projected? How does ONE court serve that many people?
City Planners are idiots! This area is being destroyed! Every city is trying to rely on neighboring neighborhoods to fill its gaps in tennis courts, tennis programs, and parking.
Shame on this Plan!
One court means a very small number of persons will dominate its usage (and probably some one "instructor" at that). One court means no organize tennis programs, no adult tennis teams, no group lessons, no youth lessons, no drop-in tennis programs, etc.. Token courts like this go largely unused because they serve such a limited set of the tennis populations needs.

It looks like there's more tennis courts than dog park. 740 residences means 274 families with canines.

Won't somebody at Faria think of Fido and friends?
