We welcome letters that comment on stories we've run or on any issue of local interest. Our word limit is 250. If you have a more lengthy commentary, the Danville Weekly also runs Guest Opinions.

E-mail me at with Letters to the Editor, Guest Opinion ideas, or with comments just for the staff. For letters to be printed, we need your name, street address and daytime telephone for our records, atlhough we just run your name and town in the paper.

I would hope that many neighbors that are working together to pursue community throughout our region would consider guest article and letters to illustrate this very positive effort.
