Buchanan heads to Sacramento

Alamo resident Democrat Joan Buchanan won the race for State Assembly District 15 yesterday; and U.S. Rep. Jerry McNerney (D., Pleasanton) retained his seat in the 11th Congressional District. Also the three incumbents for Danville Town Council were re-elected. Measure WW received more than the two-thirds it needed to pass.

number of women and minorities elected to public office in 2008.

Piepho and Mayor Abram Wilson in the Primary, and Member-Elect, AD-15, Joan Buchanan, the re-election of House Member Ellen O. Tauscher, and President-Elect Barack Obama. My congratulations also go out to re-elected Danville Mayor Candace Andersen.
