DA indicts 22 in insurance fraud ring

The Contra Costa County district attorney's office charged 22 people in an indictment for staged collisions and insurance fraud claims on Tuesday. The indictment alleges over $500,000 in losses to victims through 20 convicted conspirators and two civil compromises.

Charges against defendants Eberechukwu Sonoiki and Vivian Anyanwu were dismissed on July 12, 2013.

What? You mean they're innocent 'til proven guilty? Okay, then what about folks who haven't even been arrested for their alleged behavior, or charged with ANYTHING? Off with their heads, I say!
