In the midst of the holiday busyness of baking, shopping, decorating and socializing, my mind often drifts back to some memories that make me smile, laugh or cringe. I see the "Elf on the Shelf" and remember hiding those elves in the Christmas tree, behind the bubble lights, of course. I cringe when I think about the Thanksgiving when the gathering of roughly 30 family members had to move two hours before dinner because of a septic tank issue.
Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hanukkah memory?
If so, please share it with our readers.
Tell us about your warmest, funniest or most touching holiday experience. Thanksgiving memories could include the cringe-worth time you left the giblets in the turkey, the the after-dinner football game that had the whole family cheering.
Do you have a very special Christmas or Hanukkah memory when your spouse or a parent came home from the armed forces unexpectedly? Did your little brother knock over the Christmas tree one year? Or do you have a special recipe to share?
