Pet of the Week: Bertie

Bertie is a stunning 2-year-old female tuxedo with plenty of love to share. She is a delightful cat that will provide her new family years of love and comfort. Bertie's four babies were adopted in early May and now she is lonely, ready for a human family to be her No. 1.

For more information, call 426-8656 or visit www.valleyhumane.org or Facebook to see other adoptable dogs and cats. Valley Humane Society is located at 3670 Nevada Street in Pleasanton and is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays noon - 7 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. - 4pm, and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

You should start featuring the horses up for adoption at Horses Healing Hearts Rescue. That would be great to read their stories and help the horses the woman Melissa has been rehabilitating.
