The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is now accepting online transfer requests for middle and high school students wanting to change campuses within the district for the start of next school year.

District officials are currently taking requests only for students who will be entering sixth through 12th grades in 2014-15. They said the intra-district transfer window for elementary school students (kindergarten through fifth grade) won’t be announced until the spring because of space limitations and class-size regulations.

Requests from incoming middle and high school students must be received by March 15. Criteria for approval are based upon the availability of space (immediate and long-range) or specialized programs at the requested school, according to district officials.
