Motorists should anticipate traffic delays and road blocks on Short Street and Railroad Avenue on Aug. 20th for a major construction project.
Trucks will be delivering 700 yards of concrete for the construction of the Building 2 at the Danville Hotel private redevelopment worksite between 5:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
With a pump truck stationed on Short Street, the bike lane and right lane of Railroad Ave. will be closed off through the work area, and northbound traffic will be redirected to the center lane.
Motorists seeking to avoid the traffic delay should take alternate routes such as Hartz Avenue and Front Street.
