A Concord-based landscape contractor received a 2015 Beautification Award from the East Bay chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) for its work on a pool in San Ramon.
Allied Landscape Services received the Small Commercial Installation Award for its work on the Canyon Lakes – Lakemont Pool.
The award recognizes contractors for excellence in landscape installation and maintenance, and demonstrating the best quality, construction, originality and attention to detail on projects completed within the last year.
A total of 25 awards were presented in 15 categories from 42 entries, which included residential and commercial landscape construction, maintenance and renovation, as well as water features, outdoor lighting and water-saving California-friendly landscaping.
Martinez-based Past the Gate received a Judges Award for its large residential installation at the Lammle residence in Pleasanton.
Other award winners included landscape contractors from Oakland, Pleasant Hill, Livermore, Menlo Park and Roseville.
Award entries were judged by a panel of expert CLCA members who inspected each nomination for the quality of workmanship and materials utilized. Each landscaping entry needed to adhere to industry standards and demonstrated proper execution.
