Person killed in crash west of San Ramon

One person died Sunday night after a traffic collision on Crow Canyon Road a little more than a mile west of the intersection with Bollinger Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The first report of the crash came in at 8:21 p.m. at 10895 Crow Canyon Road in unincorporated Alameda County, CHP officials said.

At least two vehicles were involved in the collision, CHP Officer Damian Cistaro said. The incident closed Crow Canyon Road in both directions for about two hours through the area.

Medical personnel pronounced the person dead at a hospital, he said. Additional information about the people and vehicles involved in the crash was not available as of late Sunday night.
