San Ramon Government 101 registration underway

The San Ramon City Clerk's Office will host the eighth session of San Ramon Government 101 in the spring of 2016. The class goal is to enhance understanding of local government and departmental functions and encourage participation in the city's various committees and commissions.

The class will be presented on six consecutive Mondays starting on Feb. 22. Sessions will be held in various city facilities based on the presenting department. There will be a formal recognition of class participants at the April 12 City Council meeting.

The class is free but space is limited. Registration information is available in the Winter Recreation Guide. Contact the City Clerk's Office at 973-2538 for additional information.

Goal "to enhance", ok good idea.

How about training city officials from lying to bloody much on any given topic to save their hides.

They are to serve citizens not protect and hide from facts which disturb them. They using double speak, talk out of both sides of their mouth at the drop of a hat.

Do ENHANCEMENT OF THE TRUTH for city officials training!!!

Take the class. Get the facts. Get involved. Serve on a city committee. Meet the people who serve the city. Run for office. Maybe you'll win. Then you can talk about changing things. Griping from behind your computer isn't the way to affect change.

From years of direct contact with city officials, they love to hide facts, avoid facts, prohibit facts, evade facts to serve their own "personal/job gain".

This inherent quality is endemic and the "gang" mentality thrives for the sake of increasing "city" revenues as well as hiding errors, dumb omissions, and fowl miscalculations on codes and projects and definitely willingness to hide from any possible attacks.

Frankly, what kind of fowl miscalculations are you referring to? Ducks? Geese? Chickens? Seriously, what are you talking about? Why have you had so many problems whatever city officials you're talking about?

Frankly- do you know of lies or other misdeeds of city officials? Have you any evidence?

Please tell us or the District Attorney or the FBI's government crimes unit.

Grousing on the website serves no purpose.

Yes, but you have asked is for me to put a bullseye on myself.

Would you do that when the city can find many ways to come down on one.

I provided my years of experience. If you cant or wont believe it, that is your prerogative.

My prerogative is to state what my many years of experience is and has been.

Good luck in your interaction with the city.

Far you well

Frankly,
Contact the FBI. They will keep you out of the investigation.

And tell us how the city can "come down" on you?

Pray tell, just by telling the FBI accomplishes what?

What jurisdiction do they have over city secrets?

The FBI has a government corruption unit that investigates and provides evidence for prosecution of crimes by government officials at all levels of government.

Marion Barry, Mayor of Washington DC, Ed Jew of San Francisco City Council , State Senator Leland Yee and thousands of others have been investigated by the FBI and subsequently prosecuted and jailed for corruption crimes. If San Ramon official are corrupt, then the FBI government corruption crimes unit are the ones that should investigate.

See this article in Wikipedia:

Do your civic duty and turn in the corrupt officials that you so often rail about.

Let get rid of them and put them in jail.

Have you contacted the FBI or CoCoCo District Attorney's office yet - or -have you decided that there really is no government corruption in San Ramon?

Which is it Frankly? Put up or shut up.

I guess that is all we are going to hear from "Frankly".

At least until the FBI investigation is complete.
