Danville opens annual Santa's Mailbox

Program lets children write Kris Kringle for delivery to North Pole

Danville town officials are again hosting their annual Santa's Mailbox, giving children a direct connection to the North Pole and jolly old St. Nick himself.

Through the program, kids can pen a letter to Santa, drop it off downtown and receive a return letter from Santa.

Letters are due by Dec. 11 to mailboxes in the lobbies of the Danville Community Center and Danville Library on Front Street. They can be dropped off during normal business hours Mondays through Fridays, and they should include a return mailing address.

For more information, contact the Danville Community Center at 314-3400.
