Elected officials to host Danville town hall Saturday

State assemblywoman, county supervisor, town mayor leading presentation

Danville area residents can hear updates on town, county and statewide issues and share their thoughts on the topics when local and regional elected representatives present a town hall discussion Saturday morning downtown.

The town hall is set to feature Danville Mayor Karen Stepper, Contra Costa County Supervisor Candace Andersen (a former Danville Town Council member whose supervisorial district includes the San Ramon Valley) and State Assemblywoman Catharine Baker (R-San Ramon), who represents the Tri-Valley.

"During the event, residents will get to hear from their elected representatives about issues affecting them, provide feedback on what is happening in the community and talk about how their government can serve them," town officials said in a statement.

The town hall is scheduled to run from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Building, 400 Hartz Ave. in downtown Danville. To RSVP, contact Baker's district office at 328-1515.
