Alamo home sustains damage in fire

A two-alarm fire did extensive damage Saturday afternoon to the attic and roof of a home in Alamo, a San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District battalion chief said.

The homeowner called dispatchers at 4:18 p.m. to report something was on fire in the backyard of the home at 2369 Hagen Oaks Drive, battalion chief Jim Selover said. The home is located off Stone Valley Road about three-quarters of a mile southeast of Round Hill Country Club.

The home also sustained water and smoke damage to its interior, according to Selover. No one was injured.
