I had to laugh as I scrolled through these incidents reports! I was on the phone with my sister the other day, talking about the things she hears on the police scanner her husband had. It seems every other call is for homicide, armed home invasion or aomething else violent. She still lives in our hometown of Woodland Hills, in the greater Los Angles area. We are so blessed to live here!

I guess we should say we are fortunate that we don't have major violent crimes, but we do have them not far from us. Just check out what happens in Antioch, Richmond, Oakland, etc. People are getting killed all the time in those towns. We may not have the crime here due to good police (thankful) and our own vigilance, as well as a different cultural mindset. I'm not saying we should rest on our laurels. We certainly have enough burglaries both residential and commercial.
