Danville set for 13th annual Art & Wine Stroll

Event scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Thursday

An evening full of local art appreciation, wine tasting, food and trolley rides is on the way this Thursday from 6-9 p.m. with the 13th annual Art & Wine Stroll in Danville.

Organized by the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature select businesses open late to host some of the area's finest wines provided by various regional wineries, including McKahn Family Cellars, Page Mill Winery, Murietta's Well and El Sol Wine.

Each merchant location will also include a local artist, and local musicians will be playing live music throughout the evening, chamber officials said.

The wine trolley will taxi back and forth, taking residents from the long-term parking lot to the downtown's Hartz Avenue and the Rose Garden Shopping Center on Camino Ramon.

General admission tickets are $35, and $15 tickets are available for non-drinkers and designated drivers. Tickets may be purchased online before the event.

At each venue, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., tickets can be redeemed for wine glasses, and the remaining glasses will be available for sale for $45 starting at 6:30 p.m.

For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the chamber website.
