Danville preparing for senior health fair

Vendor, sponsor sign-up deadline is next week

The town of Danville is seeking local health and fitness businesses that would like to participate in this year's "Live Well, Age Smart" Health and Resource Day at the Danville Senior Center next month.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 14 at the Senior Center, 115 E. Prospect Ave. The Exhibitor Hall, refreshments, a keynote speaker, panel on health and wellness, free health screenings and raffle prizes will be included for attendees.

The deadline to apply for a vendor spot or a sponsorship is Sept. 14, according to town officials.

For $25, vendors will receive a 4-foot table to display their business to hundreds of local Danville seniors.

It will cost $150 to be a "Senior Services Sponsor." The $150 contribution will help fund the event and allow that company to have a table/canopy in front of the building entrance. The company name and logo will also appear in printed materials, press releases and on the Danville town website.

For more information or to receive an application, contact Senior Services at or call 925-314-3490.
