Danville seeks Scouts to lead Pledge of Allegiance

Danville town officials recently put out a public invitation to local Boy and Girl Scouts troops interested in leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of Town Council meetings.

"Scouts of all ages are encouraged to participate in this integral part of each council meeting," officials said.

The council's regular meetings occur on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall at 201 Front St. in downtown Danville.

For more information or to schedule a troop for a Town Council meeting, contact Danville city clerk Marie Sunseri at 314-3401 or msunseri@danville.ca.gov.
