Commission seats - are these paid positions or voluntary? Do you have to live in a Danville?

Thank you!

What about seats on Planning Commission? The citizens of Danville would love to have several no high density candidates who value the Danville quality of life representing us instead of the pro growth members on the commission now.

@Terri - commissioners are volunteers and you must live in Danville.

@Semper - no, planning commission seats are not up for appointment until 2018, I believe. You also sound like you did have not attended a planning commission hearing... ever? Please let us know which comments from the last meeting evidence a pro growth mindset? The nearly universally expressed sentiment that the project was not ideal, but state law required it? Good job spreading your ignorance. It is really helpful.

Semper- things look great in your rear view mirror- agree with Huh? that you probably have not attended many public meetings. Sounds like you would be the perfect loose cannon to join a Commission and rack up a ton of liability for the Town.
