Police arrested a man on suspicion of robbing a Costco store in Danville on Monday night but say that two more suspects remain at large.

Police said three people entered the store, located at 3150 Fostoria Way, around 8:55 p.m.

One of them was wearing a ski mask. That person broke a glass display case with a hammer and took items before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Another suspect also fled the scene, according to police.

Kesean Edwards, a 21-year-old resident of Oakland, was tackled by store employees and pinned to the ground, according to police. He was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy and burglary.

Investigators are still attempting to identify and locate the two suspects still at large. Anyone with additional information about the case is asked to contact the Danville Police Department at 820-2144.

  1. Geez, looks like we need a border wall between Oakland and San Ramon Valley.

And good going guys at Costco for nailing the perp!

  2. Because of political correctness the police can’t stop a suspicious car load of thugs that are obviously up too no good because of profiling BS. Instead they have to wait for them to commit a crime before they can act and even then they have to be extremely careful how they treat the thugs to prevented being called racists and jeopardizing their careers. Just look at what happened to the officer in Boston recently who was fired because his black/white arrest ratio was too high.
