Dog lovers in Danville and the Tri-Valley will be paws-itively excited to hear that Bark Busters USA is moving its national headquarters to downtown Danville.

The in-home dog training service provider, which had been headquartered in San Diego for the past six years, will be moving to Danville nine months after the private sale of the U.S. business to new owners, according to a company statement released through Cision PR Newswire.

“Our network of Bark Busters business owners throughout the United States is growing and we are actively looking to expand our presence in the Bay Area, specifically in Contra Costa County and the Tri-Valley,” Carl Peterson, Bark Busters USA CEO, said in a statement explaining the move.

After officially announcing the decision last Wednesday, Bark Busters will now be offering its behavioral therapy, puppy management and basic obedience training services from its new home office located at 1 Front St., Danville.

“We’re excited to be leading the next phase of Bark Busters growth from our new home office location in Danville. The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce has been extremely supportive and has a great reputation supporting small business. We look forward to joining this vibrant and growing community,” Peterson added.
