Bringing the talent of 65 Bay Area artists to Danville, the Village Theatre and Art Gallery is set to unveil its newest exhibit on Friday (Oct. 25), which will emphasize providing patrons with affordable art to peruse and purchase.
Aptly titled “The Affordable Art Show,” town staff say the exhibit will feature a large variety of art including landscapes and seascapes, abstract masterpieces of cuddle creatures, works on panel, photography, original sculptures and much more -- all available for purchase and priced at $199 or less.
A free-to-attend opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday (Oct. 25), from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Village Theatre, where attendees will have the opportunity to meet and chat with the artists about their work and process, over refreshments and music.
The Affordable Art Show is free to attend and will run through Dec. 17.
The Village Theatre and Art Gallery, 233 Front St., is open to visitors Wednesdays through Fridays from 12-5 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Mondays and Tuesdays by appointment only. The gallery is closed on Sundays.
