The Danville Town Council is set to gather for a routine meeting on Tuesday to hear regular updates on waste management and pedestrian safety in Danville and the surrounding region.
Specifically, during Tuesday's meeting Councilmember Robert Storer will provide a presentation on the activities conducted by the Street Smarts board -- a local group dedicated to improving pedestrian safety -- while Mayor Renee Morgan and Vice Mayor Newell Arnerich will give a report on RecycleSmart, which provides solid waste and recycling services for several municipalities in Contra Costa County.
Later in the meeting, the council is scheduled to recognize this week as National Library Week and issue a proclamation to senior community library manager Seng Lovan in honor of the occasion.
