Wine connoisseurs and downtown Danville enthusiasts rejoice, because on April 18, the 16th annual Art and Wine Stroll will return and bring with it trolley rides through town and wine from some of the regions best wineries.

Held in partnership by the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Danville Livery, the stroll will see participating businesses in downtown and the Danville Livery provide participants with wine tastings, small bites and show artwork by local artisans.

A trolley will be on hand to transport participants between downtown and the Danville Livery, so attendees can have the opportunity to appreciate each store without having to worry. Some locations will even have live music and other entertainment for patrons.

In addition to wine tastings and small bites, admission includes a commemorative sampling glass, tote bag, entertainment and free trolley rides.

General admission tickets are $35 and $15 for guests who do not plan on drinking, but still want to appreciate the events food, art and live music, and participants must of course be at least 21 years old. Past events have sold out fast so residents interested in tasting from local wineries and enjoying downtown Danville are encouraged to register sooner rather than later.

The 16th annual Art and Wine Stroll will be held April 18, from 6-9 p.m. Event-goers can check in at either the Veterans Memorial Building patio, 400 Hartz Ave., or the Danville Livery, 800 Sycamore Valley Road West, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. the night of the event.
