Among other plans this year, U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Livermore) will discuss raising the minimum wage, lowering prescription drug prices and ending gun violence during the first town hall of 2020 for 15th Congressional District constituents next Thursday.

The Jan. 23 event at Dublin High School will have both updates and time carved out to answer questions “on all that’s happening in Washington, D.C.,” the Tri-Valley representative said in a statement.

“I’m looking forward to updating my friends and neighbors and taking their questions ,” Swalwell said. “We’ll share thoughts about what the House sought to do in 2019 – including raising the minimum wage, advancing LGBTQ equality, lowering prescription drug prices, ending gun violence, protecting our democracy, and more – and what’s coming in 2020.”

The town hall will be held Jan. 23 in the Dublin High School Student Union, 8151 Village Parkway. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m.

Entry is free and open to all residents in the 15th Congressional District, which includes San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Sunol, Hayward, Union City, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Cherryland, Ashland and Fairview, as well as parts of Fremont and Danville.

  1. Hear ye, hear ye, the Liar is going to hold another town hall meeting! Come one, come all, and listen to the former prosecutor limp along to make himself sound relevant! Hopefully, he will bring with him the evidence that he claimed Trump is an agent of Russia.

From Politico – “He certainly acts on Russia’s behalf,“ Swalwell said.

From Washington Examiner – “There’s a lot of collusion and coordination there, it doesn’t go beyond a reasonable doubt…,” Swalwell said.

From Washington Free Beacon – “I think he acts on Russia’s behalf, and I challenge him to show me otherwise.”

Where is your evidence, Swalwell? Or did they teach to lie in law school? What joke.
