Hospice needs volunteers to appraise estates
Hospice of the East Bay is looking for volunteers to work with Diablo Appraisal and Estate Sales to help prepare for and staff the sales. Volunteers sort through household items, and professionals do the pricing and handle sales. For people who like tools, there are plenty of garages to go through and plenty of tools to evaluate. For people who appreciate antiques, it is a chance to test their knowledge. Volunteers will receive on-the-job training.
Diablo Appraisal and Estate Sales was established in 1999 for families requesting help selling household items. Funds generated from the sales go to Hospice of the East Bay programs and services. Call Lamont Campbell at 766-5066.
