Action at the LPGA

Paula Creamer, who hails from Pleasanton, was all smiles at the Longs Drugs Challenge at Blackhawk Country Club on Sunday after making a birdie on the sixth hole. Creamer, 22, won the Samsung World Championship last week at Half Moon Bay, her biggest LPGA Tour title yet and her fourth of the year. At Blackhawk local golf enthusiasts were thrilled to see Creamer in person.

The winner of the Longs Drugs Challenge was In-Kyung Kim, 20, a Korean who first played in the United States three years ago. Angela Stanford placed second, followed by Yani Tseng and Lorena Ochoa. For more photos, visit
