California Highway Patrol reports say the incident occurred Oct. 22 in the cart barn parking lot at the country club. Officials say Skye Marie Martin was driving a 1996 Jeep Cherokee and struck four parked vehicles. Neither she nor an unidentified male passenger were injured in the accident.
CHP said Martin fled the scene and was arrested later. She has been charged with driving under the influence, being under the influence of a controlled substance and hit-and-run. Police say Martin had been partaking of alcohol and other controlled substances prior to the accident. When arrested, Martin said she had no recollection of striking any automobiles, according to the reports.
Martin remains free on bond at this time.
