The U15 Mustang Blast Girls won the Mustang Stampede on Aug. 9, held at the Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville. Mustering up all of their energy that was left from their National Championship in Lancaster, Mass., the girls were able to pull out another win at the Stampede. They faced intense heat from the Soccer Complex turf and heavy competition that came to play aggressive matches. The Blast beat San Juan in a final showdown of double overtime with a solid goal shot to the right corner net by Rachel Hamilton, for a final score of 1-0.
