During this evening, the list of proposed incorporations and their committees have been contacting Alamo region neighborhoods through municipal law council to understand why incorporation failed in Alamo. These committees are concerned that Alamo is benchmark for voters' concerns for the fiscal crisis.
As counsel explained, Alamo was not a community seeking incorporation and had a separate committee of strangers to the majority of voters that pursued their own incorporation proposal. Without community, and its community, incorporation failed in the hands of strangers to the majority in the Alamo region.
In Alamo, incorporation is not dead, but we have to become a community in our mutual support of a well-defined, inclusive incorporation proposal. Just give us time to get a proper job done of incorporation.
