Does anyone know if this was really AUGUST 12th, NOT Sept 12th, seems like a long time ago to ask us what we remembered on that day.

Well, I believe that it was Sept. 12th since last night, Sept. 16th,
we got a hit in our neighborhood...Alamo Highlands....just off of Stone Valley and Justin Morgan Dr. just past the entrance to Roundhill Country Club.

Our neighbor had her car parked on the about 1:30 a.m. her car was ransacked and they took the remote control. They then opened up their garage. They did not enter the house.

The Sheriff came in the afternoon after this discovery. They said there are other crimes like this in the area. They take the garage door opener, study the habits of the house and then come back about a week later to go through the house, usually for jewelry but they can destroy the house in the process.

There was a suspicious black car that has been hanging around the neighborhood. I don't remember the make but will chack on it.

Denise, thank you for posting!

An excellent reminder to every one not to leave their garage door openers in cars parked outside.

I hope your neighbor is all right.
