Primo's Runners are off!

Dust off your shoes and participate in Primo's Run for Education by doing the 5K Run/Family Fun Walk or a half-marathon starting at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 11, Iron Horse Middle School, 12601 Alcosta Blvd., San Ramon. Proceeds benefit the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation. Cost varies. To learn more and to register, call 820-9181 or visit www.primosrun.com.

I would like to know more about the route of Promo's run -- I need to drive from Morning home/Sycamore Valley Road to the freeway to El Cerro exit to the SRVUnited Methodist Church between 7:30 nand 8 a.m. -- will I have a problem ????

I asked for information on Oct. 9 regarding the Primo run - your notice said it started at 8:30 -- however, I was delayed on Morninghome at 7:40 because of runners - I run into this situation Sundays and it is annoying -- especially since I "commented" and asked if I would have a problem -- no answer -- what is this column for if our "comments" receive no response and we are still delayed because of these "runs" ????? I am well aware of the importance of these "runs" - but please be aware it is also important for me to be at my church on time ! ! Vera

Vera, just an FYI. I also checked the link provided by Dolores(and appreciate your question as I also had morning plans) and it stated that the half-marathon would begin at 7:15, not 8:30.
