Neighbors come together to help ducklings

A group of neighbors recently helped save eight ducklings that had fallen down a storm drain on Deer Meadow Drive in Blackhawk. Upon learning of the problem, neighbor Gerry LaTorraca gathered tools to loosen the storm drain grate. The ducklings were reportedly huddled together in the cold water as the mother and father ducks looked on.

Were the ducklings kept with the parent ducks? very important for the little guys to learn survival in the wild from their parents.
