Stroke Support Group will meet tonight

Stroke Support Group of Contra Costa County meets at 7 p.m., the second Monday of every month (except August), at John Muir Medical Center, at either the Walnut Creek Campus, Ball Auditorium or the Concord Campus, Concord Room (locations alternate every other month). The group hosts guest speakers and provides coping groups for stroke survivors with and without aphasia or caregivers of stroke survivors. Call 376-6218.

NO, it doesn't have it's evening meeting at the Hospital in July.

INSTEAD, it has it's ANNUAL PICNIC at John Baldwin Park in Concord. Starts at 4 PM (but many don't make it until later).

Bring your assigned food item AND your meat (to grill) and toppings, your spouse, children or grandchildren and enjoy the evening with good support group friends!

Bring your own meat to grill + toppings
Bring your own utensils
Bring your kids and grandkids too
Bring friendly pets allowed (with leash please)
Dessert and Drinks are provided.
