We have agreed as neighborhoods throughout CCC District III to send thousands of Fruit Cakes so Ms. Piepho can win another chapter in her political career. To be sure, neighborhoods will make substantial donations to legitimate food programs independent of political purposes.

The joy of the holidays will be celebrated.

The jaundiced eye can only see jaundice even in the most humanitarian efforts.

Neighborhoods throughout CCC District III have already circulated Web Link so donations can be made without political purpose. There are many worthy programs in progress this holiday season and we can all hope that donations will be considered by all your readers.

Recent events within the CCC-BOS should be considered before any donations are linked to political approval of any supervisor. I would hope your readers would consider carefully.

Dear Dolores and Jessica,

A wonderfully sarcastic humor has become reality as corridor neighbors report some 764 fruit cakes ready for delivery to CCC District III Danville offices. Authors of the original humor have asked that such deliveries not be made, but contributors are driven by the politics of the supervisors' competition.

With regret,
