Excellent program! Our nation used to be one of small farmers and home gardeners. Both my parents grew up on family farms, worked physically hard, and inherently became independent and self sufficient because of that upbringing. I believe that my father's upbringing in that environment helped him survive the challenges he faced as an adult. He was in the first wave of the 29th Division on Omaha Beach in D-Day. He fought all through Europe, twice wounded, and was part of the assault into Germany. He lived a long life and unfortunately passed away not long ago because he was a cigarette smoker to the end. My Mom, into her 90s, is vital and active.
