As long as mall management does not get a better handle on the who comes to Stoneridge and their behavior, I will continue to do my shopping on-line for Ann Taylor and everything else I can get in Walnut Creek. Way to destroy the local mall!

Beth...Have you ever parked in the parking structure in Walnut Creek (Nordstrom/Macys)? Road rage goes on daily, even in WC! In fact, the parking is 10 times better in Pleasanton. I am not sure if you go to either Safeway's in San Ramon (where you said you were from), but again road rage happens, I have personally seen it! So, if you chose to stay home that's fine, but road rage happens daily! Also, the management of any mall cannot profile the patrons...that would be BIG TROUBLE!

Profiling of customers is legal and will not result in “BIG TROUBLE” (ha ha) so long as it is not based on certain classifications, such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, etc.

For example, a mall is perfectly within its rights to refuse to serve customers who wear gang clothing, display gang tattoos, or people who wear those earring things that make your earlobes real big.

Spcwt...while that theory sounds like a great idea, when a PD and a Mall partner to "keep the bad folks away" guess what, many more than just gang types get tagged as questionable! Pleasanton AND WC are very careful that they do not offend anyone! Take a peak at Stoneridge Mall on a busy Saturday and you may see all the "types" you mentioned. None of the are Malls or shopping areas have the man power to watch much less take a survey of the interesting characters. BTW, those "earring things" people are for the most just trying to do their own thing and want peace and love (haha), try talking to one (no I do not have that type of piercing nor do my children)they may surprise you!

At 19, one is not a child.

Yes, he's someone's child, but he's an adult.

While Frank Gallant may have our vote for @$$#0le of the month, there are no shortage of pricks driving around in their black Mercedes at Blackhawk Center (or the Safeway parking lot across Tassajara) - and they too will run you over, but an altercation need not precede their action.
Hopefully Mr. Gallant will be as tough in jail as he was behind the wheel of his pick-up.
As to whether he is a child or an adult, if it is the latter then maybe we should ask how he came about the cash at nineteen years of age for a vehicle, or if he is making payments who it was that co-signed. Adult or child, this punk had parents to help enable him.
Enjoy your bunk-mates Franky boy.

To all who don't defend the person behind the wheel, lets just say I know my parent didn't enable me I saved every dime sinceI was 16 to buy my car And maybe the Danville blackhawk richer family give cars away but I earned mine !! as for an altercation Mabey he was threatened or feared for his life people don't choose to harm people unless they are threatened for their safety!!! all we know is what is semi reported we dont know all the facts so don't so judge mental Im sure the 28 year old felt like a tough guy beating on a 19 yr old to bad they didnt t print what he did to start the altercation!!
