Why Eden? Wouldn't San Ramon Regional be closer?

FYI-Eden is a Trauma Center, Emergency professionals on the scene will assess the injury and communicate with the Hospital to decide where the patient should go. Some Hospitals specialize in gunshot wounds, burns, blunt trauma etc. While the Hospitals can really do it all (also the extent of the injury is factored in)taking them where they can get the very best care is #1. The sad part of this whole thing....if the shooter thinks he had money issues before....THINK AGAIN, your life has changed forever!
