I raise Coton de Tulears so we dont have a shedding problem with them, but I have a German Shepherd who sheds like a fiend! I have found that taking him to the groomer for a high powered "blow out" works best. Some groomers will do a blow out with a hair blower that is very high powered and opens the hair follicles releasing all the loose hair. If you get this done every 6 weeks you will have virtually NO shedding. Here is an article explaining the process: Web Link
