Beacon replaced atop Mount Diablo

Local organizations and individuals donated $100,000 to pay for restorations on the "Eye of Diablo" beacon, which is lit every Dec. 7 in remembrance of Pearl Harbor Day. All photos by Mike Sedlak.

Nice to see the beacon on top of Mt. Diablo lit tonight. Can't wait for the traditional Dec. 7th.
