San Ramon Valley schools go green in new way

Taking a sustainable approach to circulating information, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) plans to start using electronic fliers for school- and community-related notifications.

I like the idea a lot! I can't imagine how much paper it will save, and at the same time reduce waste. And a much better way to communicate with parents.

I agree with you Darlene! I have gotten so many flyers from the schools and have tried to use them scrap paper. Also many times I see the flyer after the event is over! Thanks SRVUSD!

Excellent .. SRVUSD is setting a great example. Love the solar panels and now this.
